Online Education
Since the Covid 19 pandemic, FCS has acquired and implemented innovative alternative educational and assessment strategies through online mode, also called e-learning. FCS conducts live online classes on Gmeet, Zoom, Skype, WebEx sessions. All the study materials are safely stored in an online database. If students need further explanations, they can easily view these records and resolve their doubts instantly.
Chalk and Talk Method
At FCS, the instructor centered ‘chalk and talk’ approach is used as the day-to-day method of instruction. This is the elemental learning route for students and is still found to be irreplaceable and effective with majority of classrooms across the globe.
Smart Class
At FCS, over and above traditional teaching methods, smart classes are used to impart knowledge with audio-visual aids to enable the audio-visual learning capacity of the students as well.
Biology Lab
At FCS, we use biology lab to study the effects of temperature and pH on salivary amylase, water retention capacity of different types of soil samples. Students also dissect monocot and dicot root and stem samples to study and visually assimilate their anatomical features.
Chemistry Lab
FCS provides chemistry lab for volumetric analysis of redox reaction and acid base reaction. Moreover, students also practically experience the identification of acid and basic radicals in inorganic salt, detection of functional group in organic compounds among others.
Physics Lab
FCS physics lab is well equipped with instruments that help students to find focal length of convex lenses and concave mirrors and conduct metre bridge experiment among others.
Computer Lab
The Computer lab of FCS provides environment for learning C++, Java, Oracle, XML, HTML, SQL connection operation.
Fine Arts Class
Students learn water colour composition, still life study, nature study, pencil shading among others in the fine arts classes conducted by FCS.
Library
FCS provides a vast collection of up-to-date information materials and reference books for self study. Students are encouraged to use this learning resource wisely to enhance their knowledge assimilation process.
