Telephonic Conversation
At FCS, one of the methods we deploy to develop listening and speaking skills of the students is conducting mock telephonic conversations on a given topic using dummy phones. This way we teach the young learners to understand the application of communication technology in different areas of life.
Maths Lab Activity
At FCS, we teach quantitative concepts to students in the mathematics laboratory. Math lab is a stimulating space for students where they can experiment, explore patterns and ideas. The lab is stored with an assortment of games, puzzles, and other teaching and different learning materials to facilitate mathematical exploration by testing their ideas and concepts of the subject.
Art Class
Art classes at FCS, encourage the young learners to think, feel and express themselves creatively and expand the horizon of their interests to become holistic individuals in future.
Geography with Maps and Charts
Geography is a very visual subject and that is why at FCS, students are encouraged to learn Geography with maps and charts. These tools help them to develop visual spatial ability and makes it easier for them to visualize and map the location of different countries and places conceptually.
Debate
At FCS, we encourage students to participate in internal debate sessions and competitions to develop their faculties of rationality, reasoning, critical thinking, ability to express complex thoughts and ideas through the arguments presented by them. It is also an effective way of teaching them the skills of researching, organizing, and presenting information in a compelling fashion.
Live Science Experiments
At FCS, teachers instruct about scientific concepts through live experiments and group projects to develop the students’ passion and simultaneously encourage teamwork. Here they test the theoretical scientific concepts and teach young learners to apply them with better understanding.
Role Play
At FCS, teachers use the technique of “Role Play” as a powerful medium for helping students imbibe empathy, imagination and social skills. Acting out scenarios to solve problems, creating stories to enact the drama simulating the real-life situations familiarize learners with circumstances and crises they may have to cope with in future. This supports children’s social-emotional growth and development.
Colouring Classes
At FCS, learning is made fun and stimulating to students through colouring classes. Colouring helps children develop cognitively, creatively and psychologically. Moreover, it is a very effective way of improving their motor skills, self-awareness and spatial skills.
Story Telling Session
At FCS, story-telling classes are brought into play to acquaint the children with new language, words and phrases. Story telling is great way to develop their attention span and listening skills. These classes boost the imagination and creativity of the young learners to a great extent.
Computer Labs
At FCS, we take special care to help our students imbibe computer skills from their inception of learning. From Class-I onwards students start their theoretical and practical training in this subject. Since modern learning and application is computer driven, the students through computer lab classes are geared for the future.
